My name is Emma, I am trained in childcare and currently work as a nanny, I like to craft and sew as much as possible.
Three years ago I started making memory bears and soon became quite addicted, I love the process of making something so sentimental and comforting.
The messages and feedback I receive makes it very rewarding.
I first started selling a variety of crafts through my Facebook page- Thimbletack Crafts but as my Memory and Keepsake items are becoming more and more popular I made the decision to branch off and here I am.

GENERAL INFO
The ordering process
Please take a look through my photos, these are all past orders and will give you a good idea of my sewing style and the kind of keepsakes I make.
Choosing a keepsake is a very personal and emotional experience, often the clothes used can't be replaced so please take your time.
Once you have decided on the style you like best please go ahead and place an order.
Please ensure to provide all personalisation details plus any special requirements, these could be certain items that or more important to you that you would definitely like used or pointing out motifs with an idea where you would like them. The more information you can provide the better really.
When I receive your order you will be contacted with details of where to post your items of clothing. I am based in Cobham, Surrey, nearby towns being Walton-on-Thames, Esher, Hersham, Oxshott, Stoke D'abernon and Kingston. I am happy to have clothes dropped off at a convenient time.
On receipt of your items I will send you an email to confirm they have arrived safely along with an estimated booking slot - please take note of any waiting list notifications on my home page.
Your clothes are then labelled and stored until your estimated booking slot
When I start your order I will email you to confirm any last minute details, this is the last point at which changes can be made.
As soon as your order is completed I will email you dispatch or collection date and provide a photo if required.

Due to the nature of my business it is necessary for me to acquire certain information for me to produce these products.
The information required includes your name, address, email, personalisation details plus payment details.
All of this information is for my use only and will be used until completion of your order.
A digital copy of all orders is kept in a file on a password secure laptop used on a personal and secure network. This information is kept for bookkeeping and tax recording purposes.

All items will be boxed up and sent via Royal Mail & recorded delivery

TERMS & CONDITIONS
: All items are handmade by myself and are therefore individual and unique.
: All items are keepsakes and not suitable for children under 14 years.
: I recommend clothes are sent to me using recorded delivery.
: Always double check any personalisation details, any mistakes made
will incur an additional fee to correct.
: On receipt of your clothing I will notify you of a booking slot, this will be
adhered to as far as possible if for any reason I need more time you
will be contacted. These items are precious and cant be rushed.
: Once your order is complete I will contact you and send a photo if
required, some people prefer a surprise.
: Photos will be used on social media, I am very proud of my work and
want to help my business grow- please let me know if this is an issue.
