I like to use the term 'Keepsake' for an item made from special baby clothes, blankets or school clothes to preserve the memories, and 'Memory' for items made from clothes or blankets from our loved ones that have sadly passed away.

These blankets can provide comfort to young and old and are becoming a popular way to remember someone.
 
The clothing required really depends on the size, however as a rough guide I recommend the following...
Pram size - 12-15 items
Cot size - 20-22 items
Large- 30-35 items
X Large - 35 items or more
This is based on newborn baby clothes, I would need less items for bigger clothes but generally the more items I have to work with means I can mix and match the fabrics and designs
 
Any uncut items will be returned, cut up items can be returned if requested.
 
Once I have planned the layout of your blanket, each piece of the clothing is stiffened with interfacing then machine stitched together usings as many special motifs as possible. The blanket is then backed with a co ordinating fleece which is lovely and soft and finishes the blanket off perfectly.
