Brand New Lion for Keepsakes or Memories!
 
I like to use the term 'Keepsake' for an item made from special baby clothes, blankets or school clothes to preserve the memories, and 'Memory' for items made from clothes or blankets from our loved ones that have sadly passed away.
 
This lion is lovingly handmade using any special baby or adult clothing,
These lions can provide comfort to young and old and are becoming a popular way to remember someone.
 
The clothing required really depends on the size, I recommend the following...
Baby - 6-8 items
Child - 4-6 items
Adult- 1-3 items
Generally the more items I have to work with means I can mix and match the fabrics and designs
 
Any uncut items will be returned, cut up items can be returned if requested.
 
Once I have planned the layout of your lion, each piece of the clothing is stiffened with interfacing then machine stitched together usings as many special motifs as possible. I use a safety nose and eyes.
The lion is then stuffed and the limbs added with 'made with love buttons' then it is time to accessorise.
 
A tutu mane can be added for an extra charge, the tutu can be made in a few colours and adds a bit of drama to your lion!
The added mane is attatched by a satin ribbon and is completely removable. 
 
Each lion is made by myself and will include a neck ribbon, ear bow or a bow tie, please specify which you would like when ordering.
