I like to use the term 'Keepsake' for an item made from special baby clothes, blankets or school clothes to preserve the memories, and 'Memory' for items made from clothes or blankets from our loved ones that have sadly passed away.

This bear is lovingly handmade from a school uniform.
These bears can provide comfort to young and old and are becoming a popular way to remember school days.
 
The clothing required really depends on the size, I recommend the following...
1 x Shirt or blouse
1 x Skirt, shorts or trousers
1 x Blazer
1x Jumper or cardigan (optional)
1 x Tie (optional)
Preferably at least 1 item needs to have a school badge or logo
 
Generally the more items I have to work with means I can mix and match the fabrics and designs
 
Any uncut items will be returned, cut up items can be returned if requested.
 
Once I have planned the layout of your bear, each piece of the fabric is interfaced then machine stitched together, I use a safety nose and eyes then I hand embroider the cute mouth.
The bear is then stuffed and the limbs added with 'made with love buttons' then it is time to accessorise.
 
Each bear is made by myself and will include a neck ribbon, ear bow or a bow tie, please specify which you would like when ordering.
