I like to use the term 'Keepsake' for an item made from special baby clothes, blankets or school clothes to preserve the memories, and 'Memory' for items made from clothes or blankets from our loved ones that have sadly passed away.

This bear is lovingly handmade from clothes that belonged to family or friends that have passed on.
These bears can provide comfort to young and old and are becoming a popular way to remember someone.
 
The clothing required really depends on the size, I recommend the following...
Baby - 2-4 items
Child - 1-3 items
Adult- 1-2 items
Generally the more items I have to work with means I can mix and match the fabrics and designs
 
Any uncut items will be returned, cut up items can be returned if requested.
 
Once I have planned the layout of your bear, each piece of the fabric is interfaced then machine stitched together, I use a safety nose and eyes then I hand embroider the mouth.
The bear is then stuffed and the limbs added with 'made with love buttons' then it is time to accessorise.
Please note that due to the size of this bear I have limited space for personalisation, text is usually placed sideways on the foot pad.
 
Each bear is made by myself and will include a neck ribbon, ear bow or a bow tie, please specify which you would like when ordering.
